NRIT Inc is an established, growing BI consulting firm with offices in New Jersey, California and Bangalore, India. We have an immediate requirement for a Senior Cognos Consultants for our New Jersey office.
Job Responsibilities:
|
Design, develop, implement, and support various reporting systems. |
|
Responsible for developing business intelligence and reporting solutions that help end users access and analyze data in the data warehouse, data mart, or operational systems. |
|
Work closely with user groups, database administrators, other application developers and systems administrators; and perform other duties as assigned |
|

Job Requirements:
|
In-depth knowledge and at least 7 years hands-on experience with Cognos reporting tool suite as both a developer and an administrator. |
|
Experience in setting up Cognos 8 Security. |
|
Knowledge of Web application server architectures and security systems administration. |
|
Expert knowledge of structured query language (Oracle SQL) and PL/SQL. |
|
Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills; experience in business requirements gathering; knowledge of standard system development lifecycle concepts. |
|
Knowledge and understanding of relational and dimensional data models; experience with ETL Tools like Informatica, Microsoft SSIS. |
|
A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. |
